Why no subscription

Subscriptions pay for servers: storage, sync, accounts, the people who run them. Oorvel has none of those. Your photos live on your phone, encrypted with a key only you hold. Charging you every month for that would be charging you for nothing.

What you get

  • The full vault, paid for up front. No free tier, no photo limits, no locked features, no premium tier.
  • The decoy vault.
  • Sealed export of your whole vault.
  • Phone-to-phone transfer, with the restore-proof step.
  • Updates.

What we will never sell you

  • Cloud storage. If you want your vault somewhere else, the sealed export goes wherever you put it.
  • Your data. We do not have it.
  • Ads. There is nothing in the app that could show one.

Family Sharing and refunds

Purchases are handled by the App Store, so refunds go through Apple's usual process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
